Tammy Cox is the Director of Pharmacy Services at Southwest Montana Community Health Center. She developed pharmacy services at SWMTCHC in 2001 which includes comprehensive clinical pharmacy programs in our medical clinics in Butte, Dillon, and Anaconda. In these settings, a specially trained clinical pharmacist works with the provider teams in helping patients gain better control of chronic disease states. Pharmacy services also include full-service retail pharmacies that offer sliding fee discounts for patients that qualify, immunizations, adherence packing, and personalized consultations with a pharmacist. Tammy also oversees all aspects of our federal drug discount program. Tammy graduated from the University of Montana and is Board Certified in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy. She is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner and a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of Montana School of Pharmacy. Tammy loves being able to teach patients more about their health conditions and corresponding medication therapies in order to help people live their best lives. In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, gardening, and traveling.
