Healthcare Student Training Opportunities

We welcome a variety of health professions students who are interested in interning, shadowing, or doing their clinical rotations in a community-based health clinic. Students receive quality one-on-one mentoring and plenty of hands-on practice with a diverse base of patients, developing a more rounded set of skills as they interface with our integrated services. We host students in the following areas; Behavioral Health and Social Work, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Advanced Practitioners. We also host Family Medicine and Pediatric residents for required and elective clinical experiences.

When rotating through the Southwest Montana Community Health Center, you will be paired with top notch clinicians and instructors to teach you the clinical skills you’ll need to succeed in your chosen healthcare career. Rotations vary in length from two weeks to several months and can be tailored to your specific learning needs and experiences.
