Megan Evans, MD
Dr. Megan Evans was born and raised in Livingston. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Montana State University, graduating with highest honors in 2003. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Colorado – Denver School of Medicine in 2008. Dr. Evans started as a medical provider at Southwest Montana Community Health Center in 2011 and works in the Dillon and Sheridan sites. Her areas of interest are obesity, sports medicine, complementary and alternative medicine, wilderness medicine and health literacy. She carries hospital privileges at Barrett Hospital in Dillon and at Ruby Valley Memorial in Sheridan. Dr. Evans is the Health Officer at Beaverhead County Public Health Department and the Quality Assurance Physician at Bullhook Community Health Center. Dr. Evans received the Cindy Stergar Award for patient-centered care in 2015 and sits on the Barrett Hospital Medical Executive Committee. She is a member of the Wilderness Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a FMCSA DOT/CDL certified medical examiner, Family Medicine Specialty Board Certified and is DEA certified. Outside of medicine she enjoys reading, running, cross-country skiing and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
