Jamie Vanderlinden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor at Southwest Montana Community Health Center. Jamie has several years of experience providing integrated behavioral health therapy in a primary care setting and in the school system. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of Child Abuse and Neglect. Jamie was a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at the CEC and she continues to work independently for DPHHS and the MPCA. Jamie completed her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Consumer and Community Studies at the University of Utah, graduating with honors and continued on to earn her master’s in social work from Walla Walla University in Missoula, Montana, graduating in 2015. Jamie has extensive experience and knowledge in motivational interviewing, forensic interviewing, SBIRT, evidence-based screenings, destigmatizing language, school-based therapy, brief intervention therapy as well as ongoing therapy for established patients, crisis intervention, chronic pain management, grief, depression, substance use, medication assisted treatment (MAT) and referrals to treatment. Jamie provides direct care to youth and adult patients using brief, solution focused therapy and she works collaboratively with law enforcement, county attorneys, and other community professionals. In her time away from work she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and children.
