Harold Bruce, NP

Harold Bruce is a nurse practitioner specializing in acute family care and medicine of all ages at SWMTCHC in Butte since 2006. A native of west Tennessee, Harold completed nursing school in 1988 and began working as a trauma nurse in a large pediatric hospital’s Emergency Department and later in an intensive care and St. Jude’s Children Cancer Center. Harold then earned his master’s degree in Hospital Administration and went on to complete the Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Tennessee, Center for Health Sciences, graduating in 1996. Outside of medicine he enjoys wood working, sometimes searching for hours for the right tree. He and his wife, Mary, rescue horses, Great Danes, Alpacas and llamas, giving them a permanent home.
