Dayna Leavens-Thergesen, CPNP

Dayna Leavens-Thergesen is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in general pediatrics. She has provided pediatric services for more than 20 years and has worked at the SWMTCHC since 2003. She provides care in the Dillon and Sheridan communities to children from birth to 21 years old. Dayna earned her Master of Science in Nursing and completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Washington – Seattle and Seattle Children’s & Harborview Medical Center in 1999. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Montana and National American Academy of Pediatrics, IBCLC Lactation consultants, Madison County Public Health Dept, and MAAP-Net advocacy for mental health quality access for pediatric mental health in the state of Montana. She is especially passionate about advocating and helping families reach their goals of raising healthy, happy children. Outside of medicine, Dayna enjoys spending time outside with her family, dogs and horses.
