Courtney Nucito is a candidate clinical social worker at Southwest Montana Community Health Center. Originally from New York, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in health education and promotion from the City University of New York – Lehman College. She later earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Montana.

As a Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program professional and a Montana Area Health Education Center (AHEC) scholar, she has received extensive training in the integrated care model. With a passion for increasing access to behavioral health services in our community, Courtney is trained in various interventions, including but not limited to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Arts Therapy. She also serves as a forensic interviewer at the Child Evaluation Center and is a member of their multi-disciplinary team. Courtney has wide-ranging experience from working with individuals with developmental disabilities and children to those experiencing substance use and trauma, she is dedicated to treating clients of all ages and tailoring her approach to their unique needs. Outside the clinic, you may find her at the local farmers market, gardening around Butte, or spending time with family and friends.
