Emily Rice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Southwest Montana Community Health Center’s Anaconda Clinic. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Montana and earned her Master of Social Work – Advanced Generalist at the University of Wyoming in 2014. She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 2012. Emily is a Certified Mental Health Professional with experience and certifications in a variety of treatment settings, including Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Treatment of Trauma: Affect Dysregulation. Emily treats patients from five years of age on up. Specific areas of specialty are cognitive behavioral therapy, chronic mental illness and trauma, co-occurring illnesses, and rural mental healthcare. In her time away from work, Emily enjoys hiking around Anaconda with her border collie, Basil.
