Cathy White, MD
Dr. Cathy White is a board-certified pediatrician at Southwest Montana Community Health Center and has specialized in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine for more than 35 years. She provides routine and well child care for children from birth to 20 years of age. Areas of major medical interest and specialty care are ADHD and behavioral issues, diabetes and asthma management, adolescent medicine, sports medicine, psychiatric issues, health policy and advocacy for pediatric and adolescent populations. Cathy is the preceptor for pediatric and family medicine residents, nurse practitioner students, nursing students, and medical assistants, and she is a participant in the American Academy of Pediatrics and Pediatric Research in the Office Setting. Cathy is the project leader for the Butte CHC in Comparison of Immunization Quality Improvement Dissemination Strategies Project in collaboration with AAP Quality Improvement Innovation Network. She is the chairperson for the Montana Chapter of AAP and a member of the Butte Community Council and Montana Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition, and is president of Montana Chapter of AAP for Genetics and Adolescent Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys riding bikes, water skiing, snow skiing, swimming, hiking, kayaking, playing tennis and ice skating. She is also fluent in Spanish.
